The Meisner Technique Workshop

Service Description

The Meisner technique is an approach to acting developed by American theatre practitioner Sanford Meisner. The goal of the Meisner approach is for the actor to not focus on themselves and instead concentrate on the other actors in the immediate environment. We will work on technique, repetition, door activities and a solid foundation of working off the other actor. In this Meisner workshop you will learn the technique that many of the greatest actors today use in their work including Sandra Bullock, and Meryl Streep, Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson James Franco, Sam Rockwell, Kathy Bates, Jeff Goldbloom and many more.
