Great acting is controlled chaos. “Chaos Theory for Actors” is a high-intensity on-camera acting experience designed to break predictable performances and unleash instinct, danger, spontaneity, emotional truth, and cinematic magnetism. This is not a safe, polite acting class.
In this course you will discover what happens when actors stop “performing” and start living truthfully under pressure. You must have successfully completed Level One Class with Genevieve or Charles to be in this class. Some exceptions will apply. CHAOS THEORY IS A 4 WEEK COURSE WEEK ONE: Come to class prepared to work on scenes. The scripts are all original and will be provided for you on the first day. WEEK TWO: You will rehearse and memorize the scenes. WEEK THREE: We will shoot the scenes with real time feedback. WEEK FOUR: We will shoot the scenes and incorporate the feedback and techniques learned. SD CARD: Since you will be taking home footage, Yu will need to purchase a 64 gig SD card at the studio to save your footage. Only the first 12 students that sign for this course will be admitted.
